Robot Seventh Axis |
|
Basic Description: Kawasaki's Traversing Base 7th
Axis is designed with the same high standards as
our robots. the direct drive sstem consists of a
rack and pinion and precision rail mechanism. The
integrated motion control and servo system
maintain accurate repeatability rates. |
|
The traversing base is controlled by the
robot's standard C Controller, requiring no
additional hardware. Available in track lengths
from 1 to 20 meters with speeds up to
1000mm/secnd. Each 7th axis is complete
with a cable track system to support robot
cables and can be shrouded if required to
work in harsh environments. |

Special Features: |
Modular construction |
|
Allows the ability to access difficult areas
avoiding obstructions. |
|
Using co-operative motion software, the
transporter becomes a fully integrated axis
of the robot. |
|
Teach pendant controlled, just like the
other
robot axes. |
|
Compatible with all applications which
require extreme accuracy with precise path
and velocity control. |
|
Increased work envelope while maintaining
repeatabiity. |
|
Optional Cable Track System
for tooling
and peripheral equipment control. |
